 | Hidden Leaf, the largest ninja village in the world, located in the Land of Fire. The village prospers and shines under the forest in which it hides. The famous Chuunin Exams are regularly held here as ninja from all neighbouring ninja villages gather here to show their strength. Many aspiring young ninja are brought up in the ninja academy by encouraging teachers who smile upon every success.

Wolfy | | Hidden Mist, the village that resides among the sea in the Land of Waves. Many people here are poor, and the village occupants appear strict and harsh. Those who go to the academy often come out much tougher than when they entered. The alternative to becoming stronger is death. Special jutsu often involves water or manipulation of the tides. An unusually high number of missing-nin seem to originate from this village.

The students of this country face smiling teachers with strict regimes at the ninja academy. Many ninja from this country go to Leaf village for the Chuunin exams. The specialist jutsu of this village is wind or earth, and the skills required to be a puppet master can only be learnt here.

Lightningpaw | | Hidden Rock, the village among the stones, situated in the Land of Earth. The land is lush and many trees grow. The climate is calm and does not change much. The academy operates on a strict regime, leaving many graduating Genin feeling like they are robots. However, feelings do not become moot as many from this country continue to mourn for those who died in the Great Ninja Wars.

The weather is often mild and unchanging. Villagers pride themselves on their military strength and use of lightning release techniques and swords seem to be common of ninja from this village. Even in times of peace, Kumogakure rarely demilitarises and constantly seeks to have an edge on the other ninja villages.
