Origins: Once upon a time, two people got together and found out that they couldn't keep being ninjas (at least in this world) without being able to do nin or genjutsu. So they researched, and researched, and researched, and researched. Eventually, they found out a way to use crystals, which absorb and use the energy they couldn't figure out how to use. That energy was "the chakra". Those two people are still alive and well, and become elite ninja.

Kekei Genkai
Name of Kekkei Genkai: Youkounin
Abilities of Kekkei Genkai: - Continuous capabilities:
- Extremely capable in Taijutsu
- Formation of energy absorbing crystals by coughing them up.
- High speed boosts.
- Crystal abilities:
- Continued absorption of natural chakra to power clan members active form.
- Absorption of a single ninjutsu attack.
- Refill of 10% chakra every 2 posts.
- Being shiny
- Active form abilities:
- Using energy absorbed by crystals creating an activated form.
- Short range teleportation, up to 20 metres.
- Damage reduction by creating a chakra field. Reducing chakra by 10% every time damage is taken. This reduces damage by half. (Cannot be used at bellow 10% chakra)
- Increased awareness of surroundings.
- Usage of wings of light for short range flight, gliding, and hovering.
Appearance when using Kekkei Genkai: Mostly normal, though the an aura is given off of the user, and shiny energy wings are grown.

Drawbacks of Kekkei Genkai:
Unable to use ninjutsu with the exception of KKG abilities and for physically hitting
Unable to use genjutsu
The active form drains 10% chakra every two posts if there are no crystals currently in use.
Crystals can be smashed with exceptional force.
Crystals require an entire post to cough up, no combat can really be done if creating one.
Crystals must be small enough to cough up. | |
